Hi Everyone!

I hope you’ve had an awesome week, and you’re getting ready for 2015 Super Bowl XLIX.  If you’re not a football kind of person, then maybe you’re just ready for the weekend.  If you run across some fun friendly eats and snacks, please share with us; we’re all about sharing!

Speaking of sharing, I have something and some people I’d like to share with you. First thing, I grew up with the idea certain foods are only for breakfast; if you ate any kind of greens for breakfast then you’ve broken an unspeakable rule! Only grits, eggs, meat, oatmeal, (occasionally Cream of Wheat), toast were for breakfast.  As I got older I incorporated (and my Granny would’ve strongly disagreed) smoothies, fruit and yogurt.  Now, I make it a point, at least 4 times a week, to include a root vegetable or some greens with my breakfast; they give me so much energy and they are very filling.  

Second, in preparation for (and while I was participating in) the Daniel Fast earlier, I ran across some really fantastic people who blog and share recipes.  A lot of them participate in the Paleo Diet or have participated in the Whole30 challenge and have seen life-changing results; however I love the recipes they share, they're awesome.  Many of them helped me tremendously during my fast; I now have a new perspective on food. I hope to one day participate in and complete a Whole30 challenge.  I’m teetering on the edge, close to going for it.
