Hi, I'm Tina.  Welcome to La Petite Eats, a food blog. I am learning, learning, and learning everyday how to enjoy and incorporate a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, and proteins in my diet, and what I learn, I'm want to share.  

I’m a great cook; just one of the blessings that God bestowed upon me; however, I’m a southern cook…say no more. It’s exciting to take my recipes and recreate them into something healthier and quite satisfying.  I’m “flipping” my recipes; not for residential redevelopment, (LOL) but for the edification of something way more valuable: my body which is my temple.  I want nothing more now than for my body to be a living and holy gift given to God.  Realizing that this is the true worship that I should give God, (Romans 12:1) I have become more selective about the foods I put into my body.

Friends have samples my flipped foods and dishes and they love it.  "Cook for us" they say.  "No! I'll give you the recipe" I say.  Hence La Petite eats. the blog was born.  This blog is a way for me to share my love for fresh cooking and the flipping of recipes.  I hope there are recipes and ideas here that will help or inspire you, I hope you enjoy this food blog, and please share your ideas and recipes here as well.
