Daniel Fast Day No. 18

Hi everyone!

It's a nice Sunday evening and I'm settling down, getting ready for tomorrow, the 19th day of our household's participation in the Daniel Fast. It's been good overall; there have been some challenges, like when we are out for dinner and the menu isn't that appealing vegetable wise or the times we haven't been as prepared as we should have been, but the experience has been good.

I hope that if you're participating, that your experience has been an enlightening one; one of insight and answers.  I pray God has been a steady companion throughout your process and that you have heard His voice many times, and that of another voice you have no desire to follow.  It's a wonderful thing when He speaks to us, and we listen.  There are may challenges and tribulations we will have or have had, however I praise God there are none that will separate us from the love He has for us.  I praise God we can rest assured that He is in control, as we surrender in obedience to Him.

Scripture: Romans 12:10
10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor
Brunch ( I kinda been killing this word lately (brunch) especially on the weekends.)  I had a little variety plate this afternoon with lots of goodies on it.  Seasoned potatoes, Chorizo style crumbles, Kabocha squash, and tofu scramble.

Snack
A little something I came up with to take the edge off of the sweet tooth just a teeny tiny bit.  Brown a whole wheat tortilla in a teeny bit of olive oil on both sides, sprinkle cinnamon on it, then spread some PB2 on there.  Work quickly so you get to enjoy it while it's warm.

 Dinner
Pinto beans, and green beans.

Before bed snack
Orville Redenbacher's Skinnygirl Lime and Salt Popcorn...I know. Alright I Know....Don't judge me!

Good night, have a great evening.
