Out to eat

My "daughter called me with "Ma, do you wanna go out to eat? my treat!".  This should be music to my ears, except my daughter eats differently from me, so the conversation usually ends with a "naw you go ahead, i'll just make something at home".  I usually say that because I am always the one looking at the menu asking myself the dreaded question "what am I going to eat here?".  Tonight she decided to do the food court at the mall; usually I can get the vegetable egg roll and steamed brown rice combo from one of the many generic Chinese wok places...BORING! But she insisted on us going to Farmer's Basket.  I had never eaten there before today; I was very pleased, and my plate was very clean afterwards!  The food options are southern style, huge portions (lots of food for less than $6), they're a little salty, but really good. My fave are the green beans and collards.  This is my new go-to place for food at the mall food court.
